Inspiring HR across Asia
Thrive in Asia (TiA in short) is a Southeast Asian community of practice that enables corporate HR professionals to share practice and thought leadership.
Corporate HR professionals across Southeast Asia need an avenue to learn and develop contextualised and progressive HR practice. Being wide and diverse in geography, demographics and economic progress, Southeast Asia poses a challenge for us to come together to learn from one another.
What are the factors to look into when we want to establish an office in Indonesia? How do we go about attracting the top talents in the universities in Vietnam? How can we enable flexible work arrangements in the Philippines? How can we maximise productivity in view of the foreign-local talent quota in Singapore? The list simply goes on.
To address this issue, I created TiA in mid-December 2015 to contribute to the development of our HR careers. Specifically, we achieve this purpose by publishing content via TiA website and engaging one another in the TiA LinkedIn group forum.

To learn is to teach. We have this TiA website to feature content of value to HR practitioners. By showcasing the practice and thought leadership by our HR professionals in Southeast Asia, we hope to showcase the capabilities of our HR professionals to the world.
We Engage Online
TiA provides a platform via LinkedIn Group to enable a candid thought exchange of HR practice and recommendations. As such, membership to this LinkedIn group is strictly confined to current corporate HR professionals. In other words, recruiters working in recruitment agencies, HR consultants with prior experience in corporate HR, or students majoring in HR would not be granted membership.
